Bill Clinton sees global warming ending civilization, cratering

When questioned by Ann Curry on the Today Show (Feb 16), Clinton ruminated:

BILL CLINTON: In the short run. In the medium-term, because I think we’ll come out of the economic crisis, terror and the spread of weapons of mass destruction are. In the long term, the prospect that the climate will crater and we won’t be able to preserve civilization is.

Perhaps Bubba is angling for his own Nobel Peace Prize by threatening the end of civilization.

  2. Pardonme but have we not learned that if it is uttered by Bill Clinton it is strictly POLITICAL! The science has turned, even though the media has not caught up to that fact, but the political position that would have us change our government, environmental stance and economy is moving forward like a steam roller. Be careful about your beliefs especially when we now have unequivocal proof that it is political because it is coming from Bill.

  3. Clinton had 8 years to pass Kyoto, 2 of those years, he had a Democrat majority in both Houses of Congress. Pretty much the same situation with Obama and the almost filibuster proof Senate. We already saw how the stimulus bill (porkulus) was rammed through with token bipartisan support of 2 out of 213 congressional Republicans. What’s next?
