Tropical Storm Boris was born earlier on Friday and is progressing slowly over the open waters of the North Eastern Pacific. As of 5 pm, NHC indicates that Boris has intensified slightly to 45 knots.
To Boris’ west, Tropical Depression 3 has been declared and will be named Cristina if it develops 34 knot maximum sustained winds.
